Dr. Michael Kuznetz, PhD, PE, CIH, DEE, is the founder and Principal Consultant at EngIH Consulting. He is a highly experienced civil, chemical and environmental engineer and industrial hygienist with more than 25 years of experience in research, analysis, design, environmental and health risk assessment, contract negotiation, cost estimation, construction operations and project and program management. During his over 25 years’ career, Dr. Kuznetz supervised and mentored multiple engineering personnel on multimillion-dollar projects. The engineering facilities and processes that Dr. Kuznetz designed, installed and advised on are successfully functioning in eight (8) US states, nine (9) countries and four (4) continents. He is an industry expert in physical, chemical, electrochemical, biological, thermal and cryogenic treatment of fluids and solids and phase separation processes.
Dr. Kuznetz holds two (2) PhDs in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the University of Missouri at Kansas City, MO, and Forensic Toxicology from Baku State University in Azerbaijan, a Master's in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and a BS/MS in process engineering from Baku Polytechnic Institute, Azerbaijan. He is a licensed professional engineer (PE) registered in eight (8) US states (AZ,KS,MI,MO,NY,PA,TX,WA) and a certified industrial hygienist (CIH). Dr. Kuznetz is a diplomate environmental engineer (DEE) with specialty in water and wastewater treatment.
Dr. Kuznetz gained his expertise in real-field environments, setting up and motivating effective scientific research and engineering design teams, and formulating strategic management plans during his highly successful career in several leadership roles, namely with Schlumberger Technology and CDI Corporations. He is a tenacious but flexible professional that leads by example, has excellent communication skills in five (5) languages, and is a decisive and results-oriented individual capable of making significant and continuing contributions.
